From its humble beginnings with flagship swept path analysis tool AutoTURN, the company has grown to become a global leader with operations in 15 offices worldwide and a diverse portfolio of 40+ specialist transportation products.
After 35 years, Transoft products continue to be designed by engineers, for engineers. While Transoft’s initial solutions focused on road design tools, the company has expanded further by developing a suite of aviation solutions which are now used daily by major airport and airline operators. Most recently, the company has invested significantly in the development of computer vision technology and is now an emerging global leader in the application of artificial intelligence to transportation safety and operations.

ASSETMAPPER: Road Inventory, Inspection & iRAP Assessment
Transoft AssetMAPPER is a GIS-based web application that leverages computer vision to automatically capture and inventory both road and waterway assets from 360° video footage.
AssetMAPPER Roads, an AiRAP accredited inspection system, recently expanded its capabilities to simplify the road coding and data preparation steps in road assessments, lowering costs per unit of road assessed and streamlining inventory and condition data collection, performance monitoring and risk analysis, and lifecycle planning.
Transoft was the first North American Company to Become an Accredited AiRAP Data Provider for iRAP Global Road Assessments. This recognition highlights the power of automation in transforming how road attributes are assessed, making safety evaluations more efficient, consistent, and scalable.
iRAP's Star Rating methodology uses a predictive, risk-based approach to assess roads universally by reviewing attributes present along the road corridor. iRAP launched AiRAP in 2019 (which stands for the “accelerated and intelligent” capture of road safety data), to scale a previously tedious and time-consuming method of manual review of video footage.
